memories of you
I remember how 1 christmas you gave me a Bruce Springsteen Album it was before he was anybody and you said watch this guy he is going to be big. Or the time you took me to the Garden to wait in line for Led Zep tickets to go on sale. There was a limit to how many tickets 1 person could buy. Some guy gave us money so I could buy him tickets. When we were done we couldn't find the guy. You said lets go and the guy came running after us. What about the Adam Ant concert at the Pier, he came in on a boat with canons a blazing. You were always on the edge of music. I thank you for all the knowledge you gave me and open mindedness to differnt types of music.
Also, who can ever forget your desire to be a New York Chief. How you practiced down stairs around the couch and Pop. What about the time your dad bought you the minibike and you took out the neighbor garbage can and never got back on it.
I will remember the time you brought me and my friend into the village to buy leather pants for my rock and roll days. I pray for peace for you. God Bless until we meet again on the "Stairway to Heaven"
