Obituary for Patricia Ann McKean
Patricia Anne McKean
October 25, 1938 - January 22, 2023
Patricia, beloved mother to Maureen McKean and Grani to Stefanie Francis, Caitlyn Little, Adrienne Cabral and Kimberly Cabral, and grani-in-law to Bryan Francis and Kirk Little. Her ex-son-in-law Mario Garcia and his wife Stacy were also on her list of “sweethearts”. She not only loved her family, including all of our fur babies, but she also loved shopping, pocketbooks, shoes and red wine. Patricia lived almost her entire life in Queens, growing up in Forest Hills along with her brother John Maloney. In 1964 she married Thomas McKean and moved just down the road to Glendale. She worked many years as a nurse’s aide at New York Hospital and loved caring for patients. In January of 2022 she relocated to Davenport, Florida where she enjoyed visiting Disney World - yet still said she missed the change of seasons. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Patricia will be laid to rest on Saturday, January 28th at Calvary Cemetery alongside her beloved husband.
