Obituary for Patricia Kloper
It is with great sorrow that the Kloper and Corno families announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Patricia “ Patsy” Ruth Kloper (Gillespie) on Friday February 9, 2024. Patricia died due to complications of a stroke and a heart attack suffered earlier.
She will be greatly missed and we pray she is finally at peace.
Patricia was 85 years old and a long time resident of Middle Village, Queens. Born on October 31, 1938 in Manhattan NY. Patricia is survived by her children William Kloper ( Dolores), Lisa Corno (Kevin) and Leo Kloper( Edna). Patricia was lovingly called Memo by her grandchildren Patrick Kloper( William and Dolores), Meagan Corno ( Lisa and Kevin), Tyler Corno ( Lisa and Kevin), Joseph Kloper ( Leo and Edna), Matthew Kloper ( Leo and Edna) and Leo Kloper Jr ( Leo and Edna). Patricia also had the honor of spending her last month’s as a Great Grandmother to Ryder Corno ( Tyler Corno).
Patricia is also survived by her sister Joan Purcell , her sisters in law Nancy( William) and Helen ( Peter). As well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her cousin in law Bonnie and John Grimes. Patricia has many close friends she leaves behind especially her longtime friend Amalia Zelicof .
Patricia is predeceased by her husband Herbert Kloper as well as her brothers William Gillespie and Peter Gillespie.
