Obituary for Giovanni Naccarelli
Giovanni Naccarelli passed peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Delray Beach, Florida on September 24, 2020 at the age of 92. Giovanni was born on February 28, 1928 in Avellino, Italy to Antonio and Lucia Naccarelli. He was one of five children and the only son.
He married Catherine Iasso in Italy and immigrated to the USA on October 1, 1955. Giovanni and Catherine went on to raise five children in New York City -Antony, Celia, John, Carmine and Mark.
After retiring from the New York City Transit Authority in 1994, he and Catherine relocated to Inverness, Florida, where they lived for 20 years before moving to North Carolina. Giovanni became a widower in August 2016 and relocated to Florida in 2019 to live with family.
He is preceded in death by his wife Catherine and is survived by his children Antony (Phyllis), Celia, John (Tara), Carmine (Mary), Mark; his grandchildren Lauren (James), John, Loredana (Anthony), Joseph, Alyssa, Michael, Carmine Jr., Adriana and great grandson Theo; his two sisters Elvira and Amalia in Italy; many nieces and nephews
