Obituary for Angelina Capobianco

Mrs. Angelina Capobianco (nee Tagliente) long time resident of Queens, passed away on March 9, 2024.
Angie was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on March 22, 1931. She relocated to Middle Village in the mid 1950s shortly after her marriage to Salvatore Capobianco, a Brooklyn neighbor. They had a joyous 40 year marriage right up to his passing on July 30, 1991. Angie was a happy dotting mother before working for Lincoln Stationery store.

Angie was very proud of her loving children, Paul Capobianco, (deceased 2006) and Joanne Borgognone, a retired educator.
Angie had very close relationships with older sister Connie (Pacio- deceased), younger sister Ann (Franzese) and younger brother Frank (deceased). She was thrilled to welcome granddaughter, Angelina Borgognone (deceased April 6, 2013), two grandsons, Sal Capobianco (Sandra) and Sal Borgognone, and two great-grandchildren Victoria and Paulie Capobianco.

Angie also leaves much loved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She will be laid to rest in Saint John’s cemetery alongside her parents Frank and Mary (Cantilena), her husband and granddaughter Angelina.

Angie was known to be happy, comical, extremely generous and loving to all.
